OGT is hibernating. I won’t say it’s dead, but my non-job focus has turned from game dev (and really, any kind of programming) to performing. I’m old enough now that I’m trying to fix the things I regret not doing in my life, and “sitting more hours in front of a computer” isn’t one of those things! 😉

Don’t get me wrong, I loved coding and making tools and games, and I do miss it sometimes, but performing was my first love and I left it for 35+ years, so it feels right for me to dive back into it.

If you arrived here from an old link in one of my tutorial videos or the like, hello! 🙂 I don’t have anything new to offer you except for one piece of advice — if you’re lucky you will get old, and when you do (and it comes faster than you can possibly believe), it will be sad if you look in your past and realize you didn’t do what you really loved. So don’t wait for that to hit you, do what you love starting today!
